A Note About Children

Information Collection
Personal information means any information that may be used to identify you as an individual, such as your name, email address, a home, postal, or other physical address, other contact information, title, birth date, gender, occupation, industry, personal interests, credit card information, or other information when needed to provide a service or product you have requested.
When you access and browse our website to learn more about our services, you do so anonymously, but to access any of the services offered by our site you must first register with us. Unless you request deletion of your personal information as specified below, your personal information may be retained by Cozimo in compliance with this Policy to log software licenses granted.
Cozimo offers a free image collaboration service at http://collaboratenow.cozimo.com (“Collaborate Now”). Use of this service does not require registration or the provision of any personal information.
From time to time, Cozimo may receive personal information from business partners and vendors. Cozimo only uses such information if it has been collected in accordance with acceptable privacy practices consistent with this Policy and applicable laws.
Registration
In order to become a Cozimo user, you must first register with us to create an account on this website. Cozimo collects personal information when you register for an account to enable your use of certain Cozimo services or products or when you submit your personal information to Cozimo for any other reason.
To create an account, you are required to provide your name and email address and choose a password. All users of Cozimo.com are required to have a unique user name and password to access services on this website. You are responsible for all actions taken with your user ID and password, including any fees that may be charged to your account. Therefore, we recommend that you do not disclose your password to any other person or entity. If you lose control of your password, you may lose control over your personal information and posted content. If you believe your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password by clicking on the "Settings" link in the main workspace.
Profile Information
You may provide additional information in the Profile section describing your occupation and contact information. Providing this additional information is entirely optional, but it will enable you to better identify yourself to other project group members with whom you collaborate. Your Profile information can only be viewed by other Cozimo users in project groups that you explicitly create or in which you agree to participate.
Information about your Contacts
In order to invite others to participate in one of your project groups, you must enter their names and email addresses. The names and email addresses of people you invite will be used only to send your invitation.
Likewise, any email addresses you provide to share Content using the Collaborate Now service will not be stored and will only be used to send the URL and message specified by you.
Cookies and Web Log Files
Like many other commercial websites, the Cozimo website may use a standard technology called "cookies" to collect information about how you use our website. This allows your computer and our website to speak to each other in a more efficient manner, allows you to navigate our website, authenticates you as the correct user, allows us to recognize your computer on return visits and helps us study traffic patterns on our website in order to improve the site and the services we provide.
The cookie will only contain information that your computer is set to provide to the website server, and you can choose to reject all cookies, although this may affect the functionality of our website for technical reasons and may affect your ability to use our website at all.
In addition to cookies, the Collaborate Now service also uses Flash storage settings on your computer to keep track of how you identify yourself in the workspace.
The Cozimo website also makes use of web log files that track how the site is being used. This data is used in the aggregate to help us analyze overall trends so that we can improve our services. It is not linked to personally identifiable information in any way.
Accessing and Changing Your Account Information
You can review the personal information you provided us and make any desired changes to the information, or to the settings for your Cozimo account, at any time by logging in to your account on this website and editing the information on your Profile page.
You can also close your account, in which case we will remove your personal information and any content that you have posted in your account (but we will not remove any content that you have posted to an account established by another registered user unless the account of that other registered user is also closed). To request that we close your account, please send a request to support@cozimo.com using an email account you have registered with Cozimo under your name. We will verify your request and respond to it within three (3) business days of our receiving it.
Information Use and Sharing
Cozimo is an online service dedicated to facilitating collaboration amongst professionals using digital media and documents. The information and content you choose to provide on this site is used to help you work more effectively with other people you trust and choose to work with.
Sharing Information and Content between Users
Any personal information you provide or content you post will only be shared with members of groups that you explicitly create or in which you agree to participate. Any content you upload to a specific project on the site will only be shared with group members who have been authorized by the owner of that project to access the content posted to such project. Keep in mind the owner of such project controls with whom and how that content may be shared, so you should be knowledgeable and feel comfortable with the circumstances of your participation in the projects of others, especially when you contribute your content to it.
If you are the owner of a project, you retain complete control over who can join the project group and access the content contributed to your project. You may assign "roles" to your project group members that define the level of permission they have to review, contribute and access any posted content.
The Collaborate Now service does not require authentication or use of a password. Each image is stored at a unique, randomly generated URL We do not share this URL with anyone. It is up to you to decide whom you would like to share it with but keep in mind that once you share it, there is nothing to prevent it from being shared with others.
Sharing Information With Third Parties
We will not share your personal information outside Cozimo without your permission, except as specifically provided in this Policy.
Within Cozimo, data is stored in controlled servers with limited access. We limit access to personal information about you to employees we reasonably believe need to come into contact with such information to provide services or products to you or otherwise in order to perform their jobs.
Cozimo may send your personal information to other companies or people under any of the following circumstances:
- When we have your consent to share the information;
- When we need to share your information to carry out your instructions and to provide the services or products you have requested (for example, we use a credit card processing company to bill users for subscription fees);

Communications Between Users
Any email you initiate through this website will list your email address and name in the header of the message. Emails to a selected group of members will also show the complete list of members to whom the emails were sent.
Cozimo Communications
Cozimo will communicate with you through emails and notices posted on our website. Please be aware that you will receive certain emails from Cozimo relating to the proper functioning of your account, such as email notices when another user invites you to participate in a project group. You will also receive emails relating to scheduled site maintenance, new software releases and other issues that may affect your use of the site. Cozimo will not send you any promotional information.
Customized Content
Information you provide upon registration or on your Profile page is also used to customize your experience on the website. For example, when you log in to your account, we will display your name and current resource usage.
Data Security
Your Cozimo account information is password-protected for your privacy and security. Cozimo safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures.
